  1. Take chaap stick. Remove it's sticks and cut it into small pieces.
  2. For marination. Take a bowl with ¾ cup of curd add all the spices and mix it well. Add chaap pieces and mix it. Rest it for about half an hour by covering it with aluminium foil or cling wrap.
  3. After 30 minutes. Take a pan with 1 tsp oil. add chaap pieces to it and shallow fry it while curd releases water and water get absorbed by chaap.
  4. Take a bowl with hot water and dip cashews in it for 10 minutes. After that make a paste of onion and cashews. And tomatoes paste separately.
  5. Take a pan. Add oil or butter to it. Add green elaichi, Tej pata, and cloves to it. Add ginger garlic paste and onion cashews paste to it. Cook it for about 1 minutes. Add tomatoes paste to it and add all the spices to it. And cook it for about 2 minutes. (Remember cashews sticks very easily so make sure to be mix frequently.)
  6. Cover it with lid and cook it for about 2 minutes. Dont waste left over marination. Add it into gravy. Add ½ glass water and cook it for 10 seconds. Add chaap pieces to it and cook it again for 2 to 3 minutes. When ever they mix together nicely. Add cooking cream, kasuri methi to it and cook it for about 30 seconds. Now your soya malai chaap is ready to eat.
