Steps to make Sultana loaf (bread machine):
  1. Place water and oil in bread maker pan, pour over flour, make sure liquid is covered.
  2. Sprinkle over mixed spice & milk powder. Place sugar, salt and yeast in separate corners of pan.
  3. Set machine to basic white bread or sweet loaf programme. Large loaf.
  4. When machine beeps add sultanas (approximately 40 minutes)
  5. When loaf is cooked remove from pan, place right side up on wire rack, whilst still hot brush crust with honey. (Don't forget to remove mixer blade !)
  6. Allow to cool, enjoy sliced and buttered. Also nice toasted.
  7. You can substitute raisins or mixed dried fruit for sultanas.
  8. Expriment with spices, ground nutmeg, cinammon & mixed spice, vary quantities to total 2 1/2 tsp.

Mix well, then transfer to the prepared tin. I had three very ripe bananas sitting in our fruit bowl, which meant it was banana bread time.
