  15. Make ready 1 tsp cumin powder
  16. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  17. Prepare 1 tsp garam masala
  18. Take 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  19. Get 1 tsp green chilli paste
  20. Make ready 2 green chillies, slit
  21. Get 1/4 cup oil/ ghee
  22. Get 1.5 tbsp salt
  23. Take 1/4 cup oil
  24. Get 200 gms curd
  25. Take 1 tbsp kewra water
  26. Make ready 4 cups water
  27. Prepare 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions to make Tehri:
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add the whole spices and green chillies and let them splutter. Next add the sliced onions and cook till light golden in colour.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and tomatoes. Cook till tomatoes are tender. Add the curd and all the dry spices. Saute for a few minutes. Add the vegetables, soya nuggets, lemon juice and salt and cook in the masala for a few minutes.
  3. Next add the required quantity of water and the kewra. Let the water come to a boil. Add the washed and soaked basmati rice. Cover with the lid and cook for one whistle on high flame. Switch off the flame. Let the cooker release all the pressure on it's own before opening the lid. Give the tehri a good mix. Serve hot. Enjoy!
